A Milestone Celebration
Join NAPHA on the Jersey shore as we celebrate milestone anniversaries for three classic pier amusement parks. We’ll be honoring Morey’s Pier (50th anniversary), Playland’s Castaway Cove (60th anniversary) and Gilligan's Wonderland (90th anniversary) with exclusive ride time, behind-the-scenes tours, Heritage Fund auction, and plaque presentations.
Details will be posted as information is confirmed.
Friday, June 7th
5 p.m.: Arrival at host hotel for check-in
6 p.m. – Pier Closing: Unlimited Rides
Saturday, June 8th
TBD: Breakfast at host hotel
9:30-11:30 a.m.: ERT on Great Nor’Easter, Dante’s Dungeon, AtmosFEAR, Tilt-a-Whirl, Doo Wopper, Kong, and IT
11:45 a.m. – 1 p.m.: Behind-the-Scenes VIP Tour of Maintenance Pier
2 p.m.: Adventure Pier Opens—unlimited rides on all attractions, including Go Karts, Xtreme Rides, and Raging Waters Water Park
5 – 6:30 p.m.: Dinner, Plaque Presentation, and Heritage Fund Auction
6:30 p.m. – Pier Closing: Unlimited Rides
Sunday, June 9th
Noon: Historical Tour of Playland's Castaway Cove
1 p.m.: Rides open. NAPHA members can ride 1 to 5 p.m.
TBD: Visit to Gilligan’s Wonderland
In addition, Morey’s is providing attendees with a wristband good for June 7th-9th that includes 15% off at all food and beverage outlets and retail outlets and $20 in food and beverage credits.
Lodging: Morey’s has reserved a block of rooms at the Pan American Hotel for a discounted rate. Information can be found on their website.
Cost: Pricing is being finalized. Like previous years, guests may attend the full weekend of events or opt for the first half (Morey’s) or second (Gilligan’s and Playland) at adjusted prices.
