Alert
You probably heard about the fire which destroyed a large part of the Scenic Railway at Dreamland, margate, UK (probably up to 40%, including workshops, station and all the original trains).
The owners have said they will rebuild the ride if they can find original blueprints. Do you know where we might find original drawings of the structure and trains?
I assume it is a LA Marcus Thompson ride, but John Henry Iles had the European patent. Any ideas? Do you know who I might try?
Any help you can give will be very gratefully received at this difficult time for all of us who were hoping to save this wonderful ride.
Regards
Nick
