A Milestone Celebration

Join NAPHA on the Jersey shore as we celebrate milestone anniversaries for three classic pier amusement parks. We’ll be honoring Morey’s Piers, Playland’s Castaway Cove, and Gillian’s Wonderland with exclusive ride time, behind-the-scenes tours, Heritage Fund auction, and plaque presentations.

Friday, June 7th: Morey’s Piers

TBD Behind the scenes tour of Gillian’s, plaque presentation, dinner, and unlimited rides. In addition, Morey’s is providing attendees with a wristband good for June 7th-9th that includes 15% off at all food and beverage outlets and retail outlets and $20 in food and beverage credits.

Lodging

Morey’s has reserved a block of rooms at the Pan American Hotel for a discounted rate. Information regarding accessing this discount is available at https://www.moreyspiers.com/napha. Deadline to reserve a room is April 12th! After April 12th, rooms will be full price.

The payment of fees by, for, or on behalf of participants holds harmless the National Amusement Park Historical Association (NAPHA) and its respective Directors/Representatives from any and all liabilities related to this event and all event activities! Registration by members and/or their guests implies that event participants are bound by NAPHA’s code of ethics/code of conduct. All safety mandates established by the host parks MUST BE FOLLOWED. Failure to abide by any posted/verbal safety directives will result in direct consequences for the member/guest in violation of stated safety measures, up to, and including, revoking of event privileges and/or organizational membership. No refunds given. Every effort will be made to follow the stated itinerary; however, all activities are subject to modification by our hosts (or the weather). No arrangements have been made for accommodations. Submitting your registration means that you, and everyone in your party, have read and agreed to the above registration statements. All registration materials will be at the event - an email with information will be sent prior to the event. Celebrating 50 years, Morey’s Piers started with a fun slide. Still owned by the original family, Morey’s is home to rides for every member the family, Morey’s attractions include roller coasters and a large water park.

This seaside park is celebrating 60 years of Simpson Family ownership in 2019. Boasting 32 rides, Playland is home of some of the wildest rides in Ocean City.

The Gillian Family is celebrating the 90th anniversary of opening their first amusement park in Ocean City. Their current park, Gillian’s Wonderland Pier, has rides for everyone!
